Less than half of Oklahomans ages 1-20 who were enrolled in Medicaid received a dental visit in 2023.  Oklahoma’s oral health workforce numbers, distribution, and scope are not sufficient to meet the healthcare needs of the population. We must turn to innovative and evidence-based solutions to ensure every child and adult can access the care they need.
